Architectural rendering of a residential complex in Platja d’Aro, Girona

We are very pleased to announce that the architect Anna Noguera has won the first prize of the architectural competition for a new housing complex in Platja d’Aro, Girona. It is always stimulating to be able to collaborate making the architectural rendering in this type of project.

The architect requested two architectural rendering of the proposal that is developing for this architectural competition. Two exterior views that show the main attractions of the architectural proposal.

The project is located in a residential area in the town of Platja d’Aro, Girona. The project wants to give prominence to the two swimming pools of the complex by placing both housing blocks around it

The architect seeks to mainly use the color range that is located along the coast of the Costa Brava. A contrast between earthy, blue and green colours that evokes the landscapes so characteristic of the area.

Reference images were used for developing the architectural rendering. In this way, we can reproduce materials, type of vegetation, specific species, colors, etc. A quick and easy way that we usually use and helps us understand the ideas that the client wants to show in the images.

We tested several points of view until finding the most attractive frames of the project. On the one hand. a foreshortened view that show the swimming pool area in the foreground, in the other hand a image that show more detail of the own buildings.

Once selected the frames to develop were completing the images by placing vegetation in strategic areas. Once approved, the architectural rendering were launched in HD and we moved into the post-production phase. At this stage people were placed and finished adjusting colors.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the architect, Anna Noguera, for this great project. Congratulations, Anna!
