In recent years the promotional architectural walkthrough of architecture have evolved considerably. These walkthroughs animations get through 3D renderings and music, attracting the audience and accelerate the buying decisions.
Real estate promoters are betting increasingly for this format. The video has become an indispensable tool to include in the actions of the marketing campaigns. Since a small initial investment can revert great advantages.
After producing the still renderings of an apartment in Lisbon, we deloveloped a video of architecture as a tool to use to promote these new dwellings.
As a starting point, we developed a small storyboard that indicate the pace and the content that should appear in the video. This storyboard is the guiding document that mark the progress of the work.
The architectural walkthrough animation aims the sale of the dwellings that compose the real estate development focusing on one of them, the attic. The story takes place in one day in the Portuguese capital. A small timelapse from one of the terraces serves as an introduction.
Several sequences were made combining detail frames with general views of each one of those spaces. Once the scenes were rendered we assemble a model as described in the storyboard.
With the high-resolution video rendered we go to the post-production phase. In order to achieve a more realistic effect, different effects were applied. Finally, we look for a music that evoke the style of housing and at the same time set the pace we were looking for.
